Marketing for a brand new invention brings some special challenges with it that those of us in the marketing world understand all to well. How do we bring attention to something that people aren't already looking for? That's where Invention Intention comes in.
Invention Intention is a platform that's designed to make it possible for inventors to showcase their ideas and meet other inventors, investors, and entrepreneurs who can help them realize their visions, whether that be finding a buyer, fixing a problem with their invention idea, or finding a business partner for a startup.
Traditionally career inventors have to spend a huge amount of their time physically bringing their invention ideas to potential investors or buyers in order to secure they funds they need to even finish the development process, never mind getting compensated for work already done. The internet has done a lot to address this, and Invention Intention is the cutting edge in inventor publicity. Potential investors can examine invention ideas in a single location and directly reach out to the inventors as desired.
There are a few inventor communities on the internet, but they don't bring entrepreneurs, investors, and inventors into the same room (virtually). Invention Intention helps different inventors to work together, and makes it easy for startups to find creative minds that they can work with to drive innovation.
To help give Invention Intention a voice in the inventor community, we've built an invention blog to help provide resources to inventors, and to provide an outlet for the current invention news and the state of the innovation community in the country in general.
The end goal is, of course, to make it easier to inventors to keep doing what they do best: inventing. Marketing takes a lot of time and effort, and there's no reason our most innovative minds should have to spend their days doing that instead of breaking barriers and moving forward.
